Give me an ‘O” for Awesome

For the month of February the team at Medical House are celebrating Core Value #2 - ‘Deliver AWESOME Service’. Our team deliver awesome service internally with each other and externally with our customers. Awesome service means that we won’t let you down... there will always be an outcome, even if it isn’t pretty, but we will not leave our customers, co-workers or business partners in the lurch.

Delivering awesome service differentiates us. It has made us a little unconventional and innovative (as you will shortly see with our new “Quoasters”) and we will go above and beyond what’s expected to make your experience with Medical House a happy one!

Be Easy To Deal With.

It’s one of our Core Values, in-fact it’s our first value and we are celebrating it this month!

What being easy to deal with means to Medical House:

1. Be Easy to Deal with
Customers, suppliers, and other team members are constantly saying to themselves, “they really are easy!” Our number one core value dictates that everything else we do ensures that dealing with us is Easy!
Easy to find us, contact us, buy off us, deliver to us, pay us, work with us and be us!

I’m obsessed with this Core Value and rate it of high importance.  I’m that person who switches companies over poor service.  When a mistake is made (which is always ok- we are human after all!) but no action was taken to correct or ensure the same thing doesn’t happen again, I take my business elsewhere.  I can’t stand pointless procedures that are there for no real reason.  Procedures that no-one has stopped and questioned why they are there in the first place. I don’t like if a simple task or issue is magnified and becomes difficult (and I’m basically made to jump through hoops).  Or if an email is not answered the same day (or even an update or acknowledgment received) or if I can’t get a simple answer....
Sounds like I’m difficult huh?
No, I just like to deal with people that are easy to deal with. Like most people I’m time-poor and I just really like things to be simple and easy.
Why wouldn’t you be easy to deal with?

At Medical House we pride ourselves on being easy to deal with, which not only makes your life simpler - but it keeps our lives simple as well.

Be open and honest

I had a brush with Core Value #6, Build Open and Honest Relationships, recently.  Suffice it to say the conversation that had happened managed to guide me through a cloudy situation.  The openness was embraced, not shunned, and allowed me to build a better open and honest relationship with others involved.  Mentally, I was testing our Core Values and reaped the benefit of knowing we were truly living them.  It's these testing moments that prove we are who we say we are, and our Core Values are a part of us somehow, they're just concealed and then made evident at pivotal moments.

Be open, talk to your peers about what you're thinking, you might be pleasantly surprised at the response and/or togetherness you will get from it.

Sampling

When we first started Medical House it was decided mediocrity was not to be tolerated. Be it staff, suppliers, products indeed anything to do with the business we wanted to do it well.
One of the key things with disposable consumables, is that people want to see and oddly enough, touch the product before they purchase. A bit like buying a Masserati you could say.

We are not an average company, our service is not average, and we don't want our people to be average. We do not accept mediocrity from our suppliers or business partners and definitely do not expect our customers to accept mediocrity.
