Christmas is a great time to watch kids having fun, getting too tired and generally making the most of the season! It made me think of how kids operate... And those few adults that manage to hold on to some of the positive child-like traits...
So - A few random thoughts about and from kids...
If your baby is crying and you are too far away to hear - is he still crying?
If Maggie's pre-school teacher is called Hollie and she takes a holiday? What do you call it when Katrina is on leave?
If all the dolly’s are called dolly - is there a problem looming?
Surely there is a better choice of names than penis or willy for big sister to choose from?
The age when they stop believing an Earthquake is a loud truck passing by is about 2 years and 8 months.
Funny - the look on big sisters face when baby brother manages to pee on three dolly’s at once...
Why? Why? Why? How come kids never stop saying that, and adults never do?
When do you stop believing a kiss can cure pain?
Young kids just want to wear clothes that make them feel happy - not to impress others...
But the best observation about kids is that while there can be arguing, crying, tantrums (and that’s just the adults), within only a few minutes it is all forgotten... Wouldn’t that be great if we could all remember and practice that part of our childhood!
